Education
  • Bachelor/Honors

Bachelor's in any discipline from any recognised university/ Institution.

Experience
  • At least 3 years

Additional Requirements
  • Excellent Communication skills and Computer literacy.

  • Adequate knowledge of Micro Insurance (Life, health).

  • Analytical ability and Negotiation skills.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience. Candidates with experience in health insurance/ life insurance/ micro-insurance will be given preference.

Job Purpose

To review and ensure the effectiveness of insurance operations and expansion. To ensure a client-centric micro insurance product in line with our strategic objective of risk mitigation of Microfinance clients. To maintain operational relationships and financial transactions between internal and external stakeholders. To collect field insights for further betterment

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing client’s enrolment activities and exploring new micro insurance product opportunities in the market as per the client’s need assessment.

  • Monitoring and Evaluation of the product offtake performance.

  • Communicating proper product and promotional requirements to the relevant parties.

  • Ensure coordination with Finance & Accounts, and the Technology department to ensure the right participation from their end for the smooth rollout of the product.

  • Maintain Donor and partnership liaison.

  • Work on field staff capacity development on prevailing products and processes.

  • Ensure necessary changes in the campaign and make the micro insurance module functional to all levels of the operations team.

  • Effectively Manage SLA (Service Level Agreement) of the products with the insurers. Exploring, researching and developing new working relations with local stakeholders to explore new MI concepts suitable for our target clients.

  • Conducting product research and ensuring appropriate competition updates and micro insurance sector of Bangladesh.

  • Monthly field visits collect periodic competition updates for the understanding of the industry movement.

  • Year-end financial review submission and explore enhancement opportunity

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.
