Responsibilities & Context
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of sewing machines and related equipment.
Ensure all sewing machines, cutting machines, and other production equipment are operating efficiently.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide quick solutions to avoid production delays.
Train and supervise the mechanical team for effective machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Ensure compliance with factory safety standards and mechanical regulations.
Manage spare parts inventory and ensure the timely availability of necessary components.
Coordinate with the production and quality teams to optimize machinery performance.
Implement cost-effective maintenance strategies to reduce operational expenses.
Maintain records of machine performance, breakdown history, and maintenance activities.
5-8 years of experience in sewing machine maintenance in a garment factory.
Strong knowledge of industrial sewing machines (Juki, Brother, Pegasus, etc.).
Experience in handling automatic and computerized sewing machines is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage and train a team of mechanics.
Good knowledge of factory safety protocols and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
