Responsibilities & Context
Develop, implement, and oversee quality control processes across all stages of footwear production—from raw material sourcing to final product shipment.
Ensure that all products meet internal quality standards as well as buyer/customer specifications and compliance requirements.
Monitor production processes and perform regular in-line and final inspections to detect issues early and ensure consistent quality output.
Lead and train the quality control team, ensuring accurate reporting and effective issue resolution.
Collaborate with the design, production, and technical teams to troubleshoot defects and drive continuous improvement.
Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken.
Conduct root cause analysis of quality failures and establish preventive measures.
Communicate directly with buyers’ QC teams, participate in audits, and respond to their feedback or concerns.
Stay updated with industry standards, testing methods, and buyer requirements to ensure compliance and competitive quality.
Prepare and present quality reports and KPIs to senior management.
