Responsibilities & Context
- Follow-up on Fabric and Trims – Ensure all fabrics and trims are received on time and aligned with shipment schedules.
- Master File & PP Sample Review – Examine the master file and PP sample upon receipt from the marketing team. Identify any discrepancies or deviations and provide feedback to the merchant and GPQ head/Quality head.
- Pre-Production Sample (PPS) & Shipment Sample Review – Evaluate PPS before sending it for buyer approval. Review DUPRO and shipment samples before submitting them for third-party inspection or dispatching to the buyer.
- Size Set Sample Review—Assess size set samples and provide necessary comments to be implemented in the pilot run.
- Leading PP Meetings— Conduct pre-production meetings, clearly explaining buyer requirements to the team to ensure adherence to standards. Provide PP Meeting report to the relevant personnel to meet requirements
- 1st Production Garment Review— Compare the first production garment with the master sample and tech pack. Maintain records, recommend corrective actions for discrepancies, and follow up with the sewing floor for implementation.
- Lab Test Sample Coordination—Oversee the submission of lab test samples to external labs. Review test reports and communicate with the Quality head/marketing team to resolve any deviations or non-compliance.
- Initial/Pilot Sample Evaluation—Inspect initial and pilot samples and provide detailed comments to be followed during bulk production.
- Incoming & Online Quality Control—Conduct incoming and online quality inspections, provide feedback to concerned personnel, and ensure corrective actions are implemented for continuous improvement.
- Pre-Final & Final Audits—Perform pre-final and final audits once garments are 100% packed, ensuring compliance with buyer requirements.
- Coordination with Buying QC & Third-Party Inspections—Work closely with buyer QCs and manage third-party inspections to ensure garment quality and timely shipments.
- Training & Skill Development—Provide training sessions on buyer requirements to enhance the skills of relevant personnel and promote sustainable quality improvements.
- Quality Evaluations & Section Visits—Conduct daily quality evaluations and visit different production sections to assess and improve quality standards, providing feedback to the Quality Manager.
- Buyer Assessment & Compliance Follow-Up—Track buyer assessment findings and buyer visit feedback and implement corrective action plans (CAP) as required.
- Updating Buyer Standards—Stay updated with buyer standards and share relevant updates with the team to ensure compliance.
- Additional Responsibilities – Perform any other tasks as assigned by management to support quality and production objectives.
