Job Context
  • "Inclusive Implementation of the commitments and priorities of the SFDRR in Bangladesh (I-SFDRR-B)" project is implementing by the financial support from ASB.
  • The I-SFDRR-B project is aiming for inclusive implementation of Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (SFDRR) by the effective participation of Persons with Disabilities and different stakeholders. This project will work for strengthening capacity of DPOs and other relevant stakeholders at national and local level on Disability inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction (DiDRR) and disaster management. Project has initiatives for inclusion and participation of persons with disabilities in the mainstream DRR process. For achieving sustainability, project will ensure active participation of community in its all interventions.
Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and strengthen monitoring, inspection and evaluation procedures;
  • Monitor all project activities, expenditures and progress towards achieving the project output;
  • Assist Project Manager for develop monitoring and impact indicator for the project success and provide feedback to the Project Manager on project strategies and activities;
  • Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results including its sustainability;
  • Report monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual progress on all project activities;
  • Ensure proper documentations including lesson learnt, good practices, Human Interest Stories and photographs;
  • Provide support in community based group formation and management;
  • Organize and facilitate workshops, trainings, meetings and ensure relevant stakeholders participation and preparing relevant reports;
  • Maintain liaison with partner organization and provide regular support to ensure effective implementation of the project;
  • Maintain liaison with different Government officials for effective implementation of the project;
  • Follow up and maintain effective communication with target group for achieving results;
  • Prepare and maintain database;
  • Conduct field visits on a regular basis;
  • Provide technical support to partner NGO for effective implementation of the project;

  • Bachelor degree in any discipline, Masters degree in any discipline

  • 1 to 2 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
    Field or Project Organizer, Monitoring, Communication/ Public Relation/ Media, Manual Development/ Documentation
Additional Requirements
  • Age 23 to 35 years
  • Both males and females are allowed to apply
  • Experienced on project monitoring, information management, analyzing & reporting, documentation, effective communication, community mobilization, partner organization coordination, need assessment, training and facilitation. Understand the monitoring and evaluation process, disability inclusion, disaster risk reduction, local government and livelihood management will be considered as advantage for a candidate.
  • Understanding on disability inclusion, disaster risk reduction, local government and livelihood management, self-help/community group approach and willingness to drive motorcycle (with a valid driving license) will be considered as added advantages for a candidate.
Job Location


    Tk. 29000 - 30000 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits
  • Mobile bill, Weekly 2 holidays
  • Salary Review: Yearly
  • Pro rata basis festival bonus.
