Job Responsibilities
  • OBJECTIVE 1:
  • Fleet Support -
  • Support the fleet management in the field offices. (Staffs/SC/OTP cars).
  • Support and coordinate the vehicles like dumpers & trucks used for various department in the field for goods and articles.
  • Monitor and truck records of the vehicles used in the field for monthly reporting and invoicing. Place requisition coordinating with the program team for the vehicles needed in the field to the capital team
  • OBJECTIVE 2:
  • Security and watchman support -
  • Collect the watchman related documents from the field in timely manner (All premises in the cox's bazar (ukhiya) field office).
  • Processing the documents before the submission to the finance and HR department before submission to the capital log officer responsible for WM management.
  • Support the Logistics Manager for the preparation of roster and timely submission to the WH in different locations of CXB base.
  • Support in training the watchman in different security issues in different base offices and have weekly meeting regarding the status update.
  • Visit all the premises in specific interval of time to check the security status of the premises and report to the management accordingly for further improvement.
  • OBJECTIVE 3:
  • Procurement Support-
  • Take participation in the reception of goods in the field offices in collaboration with program and suppliers.
  • Update the base procurement team regarding any discrepancies immediately.
  • Allocate the spaces needed for the stock in the field.
  • Submit all the reception notes to the base procurement team after taking validation from the program in the field.
  • Support capital team in sourcing land needed in field. Collecting the documents from the land owner after verification.
  • Support procurement team in the follow up of the payment to different stakeholders if needed.
  • OBJECTIVE 4:
  • Reporting-
  • The Sr. log officer is responsible for the report the field activities in terms of log families in weekly and monthly manner.
  • OBJECTIVE 5:
  • Field officer/ Stock Keeper support-
  • Assist Field officer/ Stock Keeper in case of any adhoc need/leave.
  • Support to the field team in case of multiple distribution needs or rehabilitation needs in the field.
  • OBJECTIVE 6:
  • Waste Management-
  • Assist to collect NFI, medical waste and expired medicine from all operation sites of ACF and take necessary steps for disposal as per management decision.
  • OBJECTIVE 7:
  • Security management support for the base logistics management-
  • Compiling the security information as gathered in the field on daily basis.
  • Share this compiled data to the base logistics manager for analysis of the RAT & context.
  • OBJECTIVE 8:
  • Others-
  • Additional Tasks delegated by the Line Manager.
  • Provide support as and when requested by the Logistics Manager, during recruitment gaps.
  • Other tasks as delegated by Sr. Logistics Manager.
  • OBJECTIVE 9:
  • Proactively support ACFs commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity
  • Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies, asking questions and/or for support when necessary
  • Implement all work related activities with a gender, disability and child protection lens, taking into account the different needs, concerns and ideas of our staff and beneficiaries
  • Ensure the incorporation of gender equity principles in all policies and activities
  • Encourage the participation of all genders in meeting and on committees
  • Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.

Educational Requirements
  • Graduate in Management or relevant discipline
Experience Requirements
  • At least 5 year(s)
Additional Requirements
  • Advance training on logistics/SCM is highly preferable.
  • At least 5 years' Professional experience in relevant field is preferable.
  • Computer knowledge (MS Office & Internet browsing)
  • Negotiating skills
  • Good organizing capacity

Salary
    Tk. 71000 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits
  • Festival Bonus: 1 month Gross salary every year.
  • Provident Fund - 7.5% of Basic Salary.
  • Performance Bonus - from 30 % to 80% of monthly Gross salary per year vary from performance;
  • End of Contract Benefits - As per policy.
