The Job Placement Officer will be based in the PRDS office, Visit to regularly various garments industries in Dhaka Division or another Division.

Job Placement Officer is required to look for new job opportunities for his clients.
Job Placement Officer may suggest vocational courses to the candidates for better job prospects.
Job Placement Officer needs to keep in touch with clients from different organizations in order to stay updated with the new job vacancies that come up.
Job Placement Officer may provide tips on succeeding in the interview.
Job Placement Officer may also provide suggestions on how to maintain a good position and grow further within the organization.
She/he will be engaged to provide labor market matching services or employment services for the trainees.
She/he to manage labor market matching services.
Vocational counseling, guidance and job placement services will ensure in matching the supply of skilled labor with the demand for skilled workforce in light engineering sector.
He employment support services will ensure the following
Preparing database of the industries where trainees can be employed
Developing dynamic linkages with the employers
Disseminating training outcomes or skill levels of trainees to the employers when training is complete iv) Organizing job fair and ensuring participation of members of association to the job fairs iv) Identifying job vacancies in industry and preparing trainees for interviews
Keeping contacts with the trainees those who are employed and collecting information on skills needs that are not acquired by trainees during training in order to review and update curricula and standards for the successive cycles of training
Preparing documents that show wage/remuneration before and after training to indicate value addition of training;
Assisting for proper tracking system during implementation of training.
Bachelors or Masters in Marketing/ Social Science/ Social Work or any other relevant subject from any recognized university/ institute.

Age 30 to 39 years
1-3 years' experience in similar position.
Must have basic computer skill, Ms Word, Ms Excel, E mail etc.
Excellent proficiency in spoken, written & read in English and Bangla.
