Job Context
  • Currently, United Dhaka Tobacco Company Ltd. invites applications for the position of GSC Manufacturing & Services Manager
  • Job Context: To Conduct and coordinate activities related to CGT Production. Must have Time Management skill. Must have the capability of fulfilling the customers expectation. Preparing of production material requirement/delivery/arrival schedule. Evaluation and improvement of ISO procedures for respective processes. Follow up of findings from various Auditors and coordinate activities for their improvements/elimination. Cooperate with regional and global procurement functions. Must have Financial Skill, Analytical Skill, Prognosticate skill.
Job Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate activities from the GSC production plan.
  • Fulfill customer expectations with accuracy in delivery of desired end product.
  • Manage all the operations in GSC warehouses accordance with relevant legislation for GSC and GL.
  • Controls monthly and annual inventory counting process in (GSC) areas.
  • Assist with regional and global procurement functions.
  • Maintain database of suppliers and evaluates their services on regular basis.
  • Evaluate and improve ISO procedures for respective processes.
  • Analyses WH space utilization to ensure GSC production materials are kept in line with pre-defined standards.
  • Ensure all documents are maintained according to relevant legislation (logistics, warehousing, procurement)

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent is preferred, MBA is a plus
Experience Requirements
  • 10 to 15 year(s)
Additional Requirements
  • Age 35 to 65 years
  • Both males and females are allowed to apply
  • Able to speak and write English well, must be competent in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Words) and knowledge in SAP (O2C, P2P, F2S & APO modules)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Tactical planning, supply network planning and production planning for Cigarette manufacturing process, Inventory management experience and knowledge for finished goods and material
  • Customer services experience and logistics knowledge in supply chain
  • The Manager must have minimum 10 years' practical experience in SCM experience including customer interface, programme / process management and planning in FMCG industry
