Internal Auditor

Job Context
  • The internal auditor is responsible to ensure transparency, accountability of the organization/Project/Program/POs through speediness and modernization in the Accounts. Internal Auditor involves performing procedures to obtain audit evidence about the amounts and transaction disclosures in the financial report or findings with fairness of concept and logically concept which is followed the standard upon auditing those standards require Organizationally, Nationally and Internationally that comply ethical requirements and plan and perform the internal audit to obtain reasonable assurance about whether the financial report are free from any influence of Executive Management or any other management in CDA.

  • Job location: Head Office & whole working Area of CDA
  • Reportable to: Manager (Finance & Admin)
Job Responsibilities
  • Planning and Reporting
  • Prepare & submit monthly/quarterly/yearly work plan in consultation with Executive Director/ Deputy Director and also involve in financial plan/budget preparation.
  • Audit Functions:
  • Head Office: Audit of SOLAR program whole organization including any Projects/ Programs monthly, Quarterly, half-yearly, yearly and also CDA's other projects according to the Executive Director/ DD.
  • Region: Audit monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, yearly.
  • POs/ Samity: Continuous audit of samities savings and bank Account & POs as management.
  • Management Audit: Frequently Organizational/ Projects/ Program management audit will be done anytime.
  • Training, Meeting and Workshop
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, Training as per schedule and entitlement of the respective position.
  • Material Development
  • Prepare formats & the guideline as per need of internal audit system in relation with PMES department.
  • Communication
  • Regular communication with the different desks before external audit and communicate with other internal organizations sponsored by CDA & with the Audit firms.
  • Sharing, Coaching and Orientation
  • Sharing: Regular sharing with the Executive Director, Deputy Director, Managers and Accounts related personnel & HRM/HRD.
  • Coaching: Regular coaching to the CDA's sponsored Organizational Financial/Accounts staff.
  • Orientation: Conduct orientation of the account related staff of CDA if necessary.
  • Reporting
  • Prepare Audit Report monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly submit to the Executive Director or in any special circumstances recommended by POC.
  • Others
  • As per need of organization if any emergency work should be done/ Internal Audit desk would gradually be performed its desk work separately in consultation with ED/POC.
  • As per need of the Organization & POs time to time Policy manual should be developed.
