Job Context

    Gana Unnayan Kendra (GUK) is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of ‘Coordinator (Partnership Development & Resource Mobilization)`

Job Responsibilities

  • Strengthen existing partnership and explore new opportunities;
  • Determines proposal concept by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs; developing requests for proposal (RFPs); attending strategy meetings;
  • Meets proposal deadline by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; entering and monitoring tracking data; coordinating requirements with contributors; contributing proposal status information to review meetings; transmitting proposals;
  • Gathers proposal information by identifying sources of information; coordinating submissions and collections; identifying and communicating risks associated with proposals;
  • Develops proposal by assembling information including project nature, objectives/outcomes/deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation; writing, revising, and editing drafts including executive summaries, conclusions, and organization credentials;
  • Prepares organizational presentation by evaluating text, graphics;
  • Maintains quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone; maintaining proposal support databases;
  • Improves proposal-writing results by evaluating and re-designing processes, approach, coordination, and boilerplate; implementing changes;
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; maintaining personal networks;
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments;
  • Develop and implement innovation communication strategies and plans;
  • Measure, reports and adjust communications activities based on outcomes;
  • Independently gathers information from a variety of sources to analyse, interpret and summarize data gathered and to deliver insights;
  • Creates comprehensive and effective communication strategies to mitigate risk and ensure project success;
  • Outstanding ability to manage relationship and balance customer, project, organization and team needs to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes;
  • Excellent consultative skills and ability to communicate effectively across varied stakeholder audiences, including senior organizational leaders;
  • Able to think critically and creatively;
  • Participate different meeting/seminar/workshop on behalf of the organization;
  • Maintain regular communication and liaison with different donor organization;
  • Reporting and documentation.

Educational Requirements

  • Masters degree in any discipline
  • Master degree in international relations, social science, economics, agricultural science or any other discipline relevant to the work of the organization will be preferable.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 8 year(s)

Additional Requirements

  • Age at most 45 years
  • Relevant experience at the national or international level involving multi-stakeholder projects and partnership development;
  • Experience in design, monitoring and evaluation of development projects;
  • Extensive experience in research and policy-level analysis;
  • A strong awareness of current issues in the field of development and donor funding opportunities;
  • Both males and females are allowed to apply,
  • Skilled in report writing both in Bangla and English, Computer literacy,

Presently Gana Unnayan Kendra (GUK) has been working in Gaibandha, Rangpur, Nilphamari, Kurigram, Dinajpur, Bogra, Joypurhat, Kushtia, Panchagarh and Lalmonirhat districts. The organization has gained well reputation and achieved notable changes in development, particularly in the area of Livelihood Improvement, Education for Children, Gender Equality, Women Empowerment, Human Rights and Disaster Risk Reduction & Climate change through various development projects. Over the period of time, altogether approximately 45,000 families came out from extreme poverty situation through financial and technical support of GUK. Besides, approximately 120,000 families are directly involved at present in different interventions of the organization.
