Job Context
-
1.2 million pcs/month capacity woven factory requires a head of department level position in which sourcing is the main strength across various clothing lines of woven tops and soft bottoms from apparel brands, retailers, labels etc. Merchandising Management and co-ordination with planning and operations is part of main responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop & implement sourcing strategy for procuring orders to fill capacity regularly.
- Identify new sourcing opportunities, and should be capable of new business development & promotion with new buyers.
- Provide costing and pricing of the garments and complete negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.
- Strong ability on supply chain/backward linkage management.
- Complete order tracking from tech-pack receipt to shipment.
- Regular/ Periodic reporting to management.
- Overall Management capacity of entire merchandising activities.

Additional Requirements
- Age 40 to 50 years

- Working experience in multinational or local garments buying house/ sourcing house/manufacturing company in which minimum 7 years as Head of Sourcing position.
- The applicant must be experienced in: Sourcing, Marketing, Merchandising etc.
- Knowledge on production process, quality assurance system and compliance.
- Must be sincere in information sharing & transparency.
- English communication abilities are a must .
- Educational qualification may be relaxed for experienced and highly deserving candidates.
