Job Context

  • Meeting the management requirements regarding the Corporate Reporting, budget & budgetary control of GSA & others SBUs on a timely basis;
  • Receivables Management & accelerating the financial control of GSA & others SBUs by the Management;
  • Strengthening the compliance with financial policies & SOP of the group for better business control of the assigned SBUs;
  • Identifying the biz challenges for exploiting all potential business opportunities & ways of business development;
  • Providing the financial analysis & business challenges with probable recommendations to Management at the right time;

Job Responsibilities

  • Preparation and development of budget work plan and sending to SBUs to input their data;
  • Following-up the budget preparation progress of each SBUs & give update on this;
  • Collecting draft budget from each SBU within the timeline;
  • Reviewing the draft budgets and preparing the budgetary analysis of each SBUs with the assistance of supervisor;
  • Collecting revised budget and arranging meeting between management and SBUs;
  • Finalizing budget incorporating the recommendation from management and submitting for management approval;
  • Disseminating approved budget to SBUs;
  • Reviewing monthly financial statements and reporting on achievement of budget;
  • Recommending SBUs to formulate plan for achieving the budget;
  • Revising budget with the recommendations of management after second quarter;
  • Getting approval from management on revised budget and disseminate the same to SBUs;
  • Analyzing the business growth & business structure for better financial control of the group under the guidance of supervisor;
  • Assisting the decision-making process of Management based on the con-current business situation;
  • Ensuring the proper business analysis at the SBUs to better understand the business growth & dimensions;
  • Preparing the customized business analysis report based on the requirement of Management;
  • Communicating the analytical report to Management for optimizing the business opportunities;

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Finance, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance Accounting, Master of Commerce (MCom) in Finance, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance & Accounting
  • Preferred Professional Certification: CA CC
  • Skills Required: Accounting Software, Accounts and audit, Financial Analysis, MS Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/ OneNote

Experience Requirements

  • 3 to 5 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
    Budgetary Control, Corporate Reporting
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Airline, Group of Companies

Additional Requirements

  • Age 30 to 40 years
  • CA CC (with Certificate Level Qualified) is preferred
